Samsung announced the Galaxy A53 5G earlier this week, and the phone looks to replicate the success Samsung found with the Galaxy A52 last year. With the A53, you’ll enjoy a vibrant 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display, complete with a 120Hz refresh rate and even expandable storage.
From a design standpoint, there’s not much to write home about, as this looks like the Galaxy S22 and Galaxy S21 had offspring and you changed the camera module. Speaking of which, the Galaxy A53 is also equipped with a triple-camera setup, headlined by a 64MP main lens. This is accompanied by a solid 12MP ultra-wide lens and a 5MP depth sensor that sports a fixed focus.
Surprisingly, Samsung is also bringing some of its best software features to this mid-range device. These include Object Eraser, an AI-powered Portrait Mode, and a greatly-improved Night Mode. You won’t find super-fast wired charging, but the 25W speeds should be enough to get your phone topped off before you run out.
