Mobvoi’s TicWatch GTH Pro makes it incredibly easy to track your heart health

0

While the rest of the world awaits the arrival of the next Wear OS 3 smartwatch, all hope is not lost if you’re looking for alternatives to the Galaxy Watch 4. Over the past year, Mobvoi has been one of the leaders in the smartwatch and fitness tracker space and has just announced its latest wearable with the GTH Pro.

These were initially leaked late last year, following a rather awkward launch of the TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra. But unlike the TicWatch Pro, the GTH Pro competes more against the likes of Fitbit and Amazfit as opposed to the Galaxy Watch 4 or TicWatch Pro 3 Ultra.

Instead of adopting around design, the GTH Pro keeps a similar build to the original TicWatch GTH which was first introduced last year. You’ll find a 1.55-inch display with a 360 x 320 resolution, along with a serviceable 260mAh battery and a 5ATM water resistance rating.

Much like the GTH, Mobvoi’s latest wearables are capable of tracking more than 14 different “sports modes”, along with providing automatic workout detection. But there are a few new and nifty features that might entice those who are looking for more of a fitness tracker instead of a smartwatch.

The GTH Pro is the first TicWatch wearable to include built-in skin temperature monitoring. According to Mobvoi, this will provide you with 24/7 tracking, making it easier to know if something’s going on with your body before you start feeling sick.

As expected, Mobvoi has also integrated a built-in SpO2 sensor which will keep track of your blood oxygen levels throughout the day. Other health features include 24-hour heart rate monitoring, along with sleep tracking and stress management thanks to the built-in apps including TicBreathe and TicHealth.

If those health features weren’t enough, the TicWatch Pro has one other trick up its sleeve. You’ll actually be able to manually measure your “heart health” thanks to the integrated sensor on the side. By placing your finger on the sensor, TicWatch GTH Pro is capturing arterial pulse waveforms and measuring a variety of cardiovascular parameters right from your wrist.

This was done in partnership with CardieX as the two companies have been working together in an effort to create a unique health-focused smartwatch. The GTH Pro uses dual PPG sensors to provide insights to your health that you won’t find on other competing wearables.

Mobvoi’s TicWatch brand has gained quite a reputation for offering some incredible hardware paired with useful health tracking features. The company’s latest offering is available to order starting today from either Mobvoi’s website or from Amazon for just $99.
