The Bosma EX is proof that protecting your home doesn’t need to be expensive

0

Protecting your home with smart home security cameras has become rather common these days, but the problem with a lot of these security platforms is that they require you to pay a subscription if you want to keep the security footage in the cloud so that you can access it anytime you want.

The problem is that it’s not everyday you need to review the footage, so it doesn’t really make sense to pay a monthly subscription for something you may or may not need, right?

That’s where the Bosma EX series comes in. This is an outdoor security camera system that does away with the need for subscriptions, meaning that what you pay for is what you get, no hidden fees, no extras, all ready to go right out of the box.

Rain or shine, the Bosma EX has got you covered

One of the concerns of outdoor security cameras is how well they can withstand the elements. What good is a camera if when it rains, it stops working due to the moisture, right? With the Bosma EX and EX Pro, we’re talking about features like weatherproofing, meaning that you can rest assured that it will work rain or shine.

The camera has also been designed with the ability to pan 180-degrees and also at a 45-degree angle, which means that you’ll be able to see a wide field of view, and since it pans, you can remotely control the cameras so move around so that you can see areas that might not be covered normally.

Great visuals

A security camera is only as good as the video and photos it can take. If all you can see are pixels, then what’s the use, right? The Bosma EX series will feature 3MP images and offer up 4x digital zoom, while also supporting Full HD video, and color night vision, so that even in the dead of the night, your footage won’t go to waste.

Other features of the EX series include auto tracking, motion detection, and person detection, so that when someone comes into the frame, the Bosma EX won’t let them go so easily. It also has a facial recognition feature so that it can tell apart friend from foe, plus with package detection, you’ll know when you’ve received a package so that you can quickly get it before the porch pirates come, or be aware of it so you can remotely keep an eye on it.

A thief deterrent

While capturing footage of a crime happening usually means that it’s too late, being able to deter would-be thieves would be much better, wouldn’t it? With the Bosma EX, it comes with an anti-theft alert that will trigger a 120dB siren while sending you a notification.

It is also tamper resistant where should it ever get unplugged, presumably by the thieves, it will continue to record on its backup battery so that it can still capture images of the thief.

Affordable security

So how much will all of this cost you? Like we said, the Bosma EX series is designed to be affordable where there are no hidden fees or subscriptions. Its creators have currently launched an Indiegogo crowdfunding campaign where you can grab the newly launched Bosma EX Pro at an early bird special of $99 ($149 normally), or $65 for the Bosma EX.

They are also selling bundles for multiple units in case you want to place them around the perimeter of your home. If you’re convinced, then be sure to head on over to its Indiegogo page for the details on how to pledge your support.
