The launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has been going back and forth, where last week it was suggested that it could be launching soon as production issues have been solved, but a few days later it was suggested that the phone might have been cancelled due to chip shortages and how the Galaxy Z Flip 3 was doing better than Samsung had expected.
For those wondering if maybe there could be yet another last minute change of plans, it looks like that won’t be happening. In fact, Samsung is quietly trying to erase all evidence of the Galaxy S21 FE from its websites. This is according to a tweet by Natxo Baraja who found that support pages for the Galaxy S21 FE had disappeared from Samsung’s websites across various countries.

One possibility is that maybe the Galaxy S21 FE’s availability could now be limited to just one or two countries, which is why reference to the phone is removed from other Samsung websites, but that’s just our speculation. More than likely the phone is probably cancelled, but honestly, how many of you are bummed by this?
The Galaxy S21 is still available for purchase for a lower price now that it’s been out for a while, and the Galaxy Z Flip 3 is certainly a very compelling device, so if you’re in the market for a new phone, either wait for the Galaxy S22 next year or consider some of Samsung’s other 2021 offerings.
