Samsung Galaxy S22 could have a built-in S Pen

0

With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S21, Samsung finally introduced S Pen support for non-Galaxy Note devices. The only problem with it is that the Galaxy S21 does not have a place for users to slot in the S Pen, which means that bringing the S Pen around might be troublesome and users could lose it.

The good news is that according to a post by leakster Ice Universe, they are claiming that with the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra, the phone will actually come with a built-in S Pen, but apparently this will require a bit of modifications to the phone’s design that could also “compromise” some of its specs.

For starters, it seems that Samsung will be changing the display aspect ratio of the Galaxy S22. It will apparently now be 19.3:9 instead of the 20:9 of the Galaxy S21. The edges of the phone will also be less rounded compared to the Galaxy S21, but it will be less boxy than the Note series.

Also, in terms of battery, the phone will maintain its 5,000mAh battery which means that those hoping for a larger battery in the Galaxy S22 might be disappointed. To be honest these changes and compromise to the phone doesn’t sound too bad. A 5,000mAh battery and an aspect ratio that may or may not be noticed by many seems reasonable.
