Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 could launch with a special case to store the S Pen

According to the rumors, one of the features we can expect from the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 3 is support for the S Pen. While it hasn’t been confirmed yet, it feels almost like a given because Samsung did introduce support to the Galaxy S21 when it launched earlier this year.

Plus the company later stated that they do plan to add support for more phones in the future, so why not the Galaxy Z Fold 3, right? Unfortunately, just like the Galaxy S21, the S Pen for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 won’t have a dedicated slot unlike the Galaxy Note series, but Samsung could be remedying that with a special case.

A tweet by Ishan Agarwal has revealed that Samsung is planning on launching a “Note Pack” case for the Galaxy Z Fold 3. This is a case that apparently will have a slot for the S Pen, meaning that you can bring your phone and S Pen together without having to store the stylus in your pocket or bag separately.

We’re not 100% sure what it looks like or how it will work, but hopefully Samsung will have more details at its Unpacked event which is currently scheduled for the 11th of August. It’s actually a pretty cool idea, although we have to wonder why Samsung isn’t creating a dedicated slot in the first place, or why didn’t they think of such a case for the Galaxy S21?
