Another day, another confirmed bit of information regarding the OnePlus Nord 2 ahead of tomorrow’s announcement. Today, the OnePlus India Twitter account confirmed that the Nord 2 will feature a 4,500mAh battery along with sporting Warp Charge 65. While it’s unknown exactly how fast these charging speeds actually are, OnePlus claims you’ll get a “full day’s power in just 15 minutes”.

Up to this point, we’ve learned that the Nord 2 will feature the following specs and features:
- 6.43-inch AMOLED display
- 90Hz refresh rate
- MediaTek Dimensity 1200 AI SoC
- Triple Camera setup w/ 50MP Sony IMX766 and OIS
- OxygenOS 11.3 based on Android 11
- Two years of major Android updates
- Three years of security updates
With tomorrow’s event just hours away, there’s not much time left to wait before we hear about everything that the Nord 2 will bring to the table. The biggest downside is that like its predecessor, the Nord 2 won’t be coming to the States. Instead, OnePlus will be releasing the device exclusively in Europe and India.
Along with the Nord 2, we’re expecting some type of announcement regarding the OnePlus Buds Pro. These made a surprise appearance courtesy of the OnePlus Labs a few weeks back. Unlike the Nord 2, OnePlus has not shared much information regarding what features will be in store for earbuds that could take on Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro.
Tomorrow’s event is scheduled to kick off tomorrow, July 22, at 10 am ET and you’ll be able to watch the announcement live on YouTube.
