The time is almost upon us. Carl Pei’s Nothing is nearing the launch of its first product, and the company has announced that it will be partnering with StockX for the release of the Nothing Ear 1 earbuds. Starting at 9 AM EDT on July 19, a two-day auction will be taking place on StockX for the first 100 Ear 1 earbuds.

The Nothing ear (1) DropX goes live at 9:00 AM EDT on Monday, July, 19 2021 and will be a two day auction.Simply create a StockX account or log in to your existing account and place a Bid on the DropX product page once it goes live. Bids will be accepted until the auction closes on Wednesday, July 21, 2021 at 8:59 AM EDT.

After the DropX auction window closes, the 100 highest Bids will win the ear (1) at their respective Bid price and each unit will be engraved with the numbers 1-100, in order of their final sale price.

This marks the first time that we have seen a tech product launch exclusively through StockX. For the unaware, StockX is an online auction house where you can find many exclusive or out-of-stock products, collectibles, and memorabilia. In addition to being home to some of the most hard-to-find shoe drops, StockX has also turned into an alternative marketplace for those trying to get a new graphics card.

Not too much information has been revealed just yet in regards to the Ear 1 earbuds. Nothing stated that these will feature an “iconic design” along with Active Noise Cancellation, all while being priced at just $99.

After this exclusive launch has concluded, the rest of the world will have to wait until July 27th in order to order the new headphones for themselves. The company is expected to hold a launch event at 9 AM on the 27th, and these will initially be made available in North America, Europe, India, and the UK.

If you want to try and win one of the first 100 Nothing Ear 1 earbuds, StockX recommends creating an account ahead of time.
