Although this looks to be changing in Android 12, Android 11 introduced a new way to quickly access your smart home controls and Google Pay. Simply press and hold on the Power Button to reveal the new Power Menu. From here, there is a shortcut at the top for Google Pay, along with smart home control buttons listed below.
