While there are different gestures that can be used in order to interact with, and open different apps from the lock screen, Quick Launch is a bit different. This will allow users to quickly switch between five of their favorite apps.
- Open the Settings app.
- Scroll down and select Utilities.
- Tap Quick Launch.
- Tap the toggle at the top to enable Quick Launch.
- Select Shortcuts Settings to enable specific shortcuts or apps that will be used with Quick Launch.
In order to actually use it after it has been activated, you’ll need to keep your finger on the display after using the in-display fingerprint scanner. Then swipe left or right to open the app.
