Mass production of Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3, Galaxy Z Fold 3 has begun

Word on the street has it that Samsung is working on new foldable phones, but the question is when will they launch? We heard that they might launch in August, and it seems that the company could be on schedule because according to a report from FrontPageTech, mass production on the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 has begun.

According to the report, it seems that Samsung will be aiming for the production of 50,000 to 70,000 units produced per day and that the phones will be ready in time for its August launch. Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything official yet so take it with a grain of salt, but it is expected that we will see these phones later this year.

Samsung did previously confirm that the Galaxy Note series will not be launching this year due to the global chip shortage, which means that the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3 will be its second and third flagship phones for 2021 following the launch of the Galaxy S21 from earlier this year.

The high production of the foldables also seems to suggest that Samsung is confident in their ability to move the handsets. As it stands the company’s current foldable phones aren’t exactly cheap, but there have been reports claiming that Samsung could reduce the price, which hopefully could spur adoption of the phones.
