Google seems to be pulling out all the stops when it comes to trying to get Stadia into the hands of more and more people. Last month, we learned that Google partnered with OnePlus to give away a Stadia Premiere Edition in Europe, and now AT&T customers can join in on the fun.
Instead of offering a Premiere Edition, which includes the Stadia Controller and a Chromecast Ultra, AT&T is offering 6-months of Stadia Pro for select subscribers. To take advantage, you’ll need to be a new or existing customer on “eligible unlimited plans” and either add or upgrade a 5G phone to your service plan.
Another way for you to take advantage of this is if you happen to have AT&T Fiber in your area. New customers or those who are upgrading to the plans with at least 300Mbps or more, will also qualify for this deal.
So what if you don’t have a Stadia Controller and/or Chromecast Ultra? Well, you won’t be able to get one for free, but AT&T is offering a deep discount marking the bundle down to just $19.99 for a limited time. The requirements for being able to get this bundle are exactly the same as those who are eligible for receiving the 6-months of Stadia Pro for free.
After those six months have elapsed, you’ll have the option to continue paying the $9.99 per month for Stadia Pro, or can just cancel your subscription altogether. We’re hoping that Google continues to partner with more carriers and other companies to bring Stadia to more and more users.
