It feels like we are seeing a new Xiaomi phone announced and/or released every day. Earlier this week the company announced the Redmi Note 8 2021, and today, we’re seeing the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G announcement.

The Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G definitely doesn’t just “roll-off” the tongue, but there’s a lot to like about the latest Redmi Note handset. The device is equipped with a 6.67-inch LCD display with an FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate with 240Hz touch-sampling. The refresh rate for the Note 10 Pro 5G automatically adjusts between as low as 30Hz and going all the way up to 120Hz, depending on what you’re doing and the content on the screen.

At the helm, we have the Dimensity 1100 SoC, combined with either 6GB or 8GB of RAM and either 128GB or 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There’s a massive 5,000mAh battery built-in, with charging speeds capable of reaching 67W with the included charging brick in the box.

On the camera front, we have a basic 16MP selfie camera, along with a triple-camera array on the back. This is headlined by a 64MP wide-angle lens, accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide camera, and a 2MP macro lens.

Other features of the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, to go along with Hi-Res-certified JBL dual stereo speakers, along with three microphones, and an IP53 splash resistance rating.

Xiaomi plans to launch the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G in China on June 1st starting at $250 for the base model with 6GB / 128GB. The next step up sees a configuration of 8GB and 128GB which will be priced at around $281, and the flagship model with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will be available for about $313. Xiaomi has not stated whether the Redmi Note 10 Pro 5G will arrive in markets other than China.
