CES 2022 will provide some normalcy as it returns to Las Vegas

Considering the events taking place around the world, it only made sense for CES 2021 to go the “all-digital” route. With virtual press events and endless briefings, companies were forced to take a different approach to announce new products or showing off the prototypes that we expect from CES.

If you’ve been wondering when the tech would go back to “normal”, it’s possible that CES 2022 could be the first in-person tech event since the pandemic shook the world. Today, the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) announced that CES 2022 would be making its return to Las Vegas next year, and will be taking place from January 5th until January 8th.

In the press release, the CTA shared the following in regards to following guidelines:

CTA will be reviewing guidelines for coronavirus safety measures from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in addition to state and local guidelines. CTA will be following applicable federal, state and local laws, adapting CES plans accordingly and sharing updates with its audiences.

The CTA also shared that more than 1,000 companies have signed up to make an appearance at CES 2022, including the likes of Amazon, Dell, Google, Lenovo, and many others. We’re also expecting to see many more companies make their CES return as we are shown the pieces of technology that will grace our homes in 2022 in beyond.
