iPhone 12 versus OnePlus 8T camera comparison: not quite good enough
The new iPhone 12 landed alongside the new OnePlus 8T. Since these two devices feature nearly the same sticker price, we thought it would be interesting to see how the cameras compare. When looking at the hardware, the iPhone 12 is at a disadvantage, but Apple has proven over the years that it can capture some amazing photos, even with 12MP sensors.
The OnePlus 8T packs in some impressive hardware with a 48MP main sensor on the back, a 16MP ultra-wide camera, 5MP macro camera and even a 2MP monochrome sensor. While the hardware comparison might be stacked in OnePlus’ favor, the company has often struggled to deliver impressive images when compared to the iPhone.
