Wyze Smart LED Bulbs
In case the Yeelight’s $20 bulbs are still a little too expensive for your liking, then Wyze is definitely worth checking out. This is because the company has created smart bulbs that only cost $8 per bulb, and there is no hub required either, meaning that it will only cost you $8 just to get smart lighting setup in your home!
Users will be able to create schedules and adjust the brightness and color temperature from within the app itself, and they are also compatible with digital assistants like Amazon’s Alexa and Google’s Google Assistant. It also plays nicely with IFTTT so you can create events and scenarios to change the lights accordingly.
Nanoleaf
If you’ve ever browsed Reddit’s r/battlestations, there is a very good chance that you would have come across setups featuring Nanoleaf’s lights. Unlike traditional light bulbs, Nanoleaf uses light panels that are offered in a variety of shapes, where you can choose from squares, triangles, to hexagons, meaning that you can create various patterns across your wall.
These are more of ambient lights, but they are quite nice to look at and are a great way of spreading out the lighting in a room.
