Smartwatches are a dime a dozen but if you’re in the market for a new smartwatch and would like to get your hands on the latest model possible, you might be interested to learn that Skagen has announced their latest smartwatch in the form of the Skagen Falster 3, the successor to last year’s Falster 2.

According to Skagen, the Falster 3 will boast new speaker functionality and features like smart battery modes, meaning that it should in theory be able to last you longer. There will also be double the amount of storage and also a bump in the RAM department up to 1GB of RAM.

The watch will also feature support for Google Assistant and users will also be able to take calls on their watch, with support for both Android and iPhone devices. It will be powered by Google’s Wear OS platform and will also use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon Wear 3100 platform.

Skagen claims that there will be four styles to choose from, one of which will be a limited edition style designed in collaboration with X by KYGO for those who want something that looks a bit more fanciful.

In terms of pricing and availability, Skagen will be selling the Falster 3 at $295 and is expected to be available for purchase starting on the 7th of January, 2020. The X by KYGO model will arrive later in the early part of spring 2020.
