Due to handset makers starting to remove the headphone jack from their phones, this has resulted in more companies creating wireless headphones to satisfy customers who’d rather not deal with dongles and adapters. In fact, if you’re in the market for a set of wireless earbuds, you might not have to look further than LG.
The company has recently announced their take on truly wireless earbuds in the form of the LG Tone+. They’re pretty standard as far as wireless earbuds are concerned, but they will come with Google Assistant built into it so if you do use the digital assistant quite often, like for home automation, then this could be useful to you.
In terms of features, like we said, it is pretty standard where the earbuds will offer up 6 hours of usage per charge. It will also come with a charging case that LG claims will give the earbuds an extra 1 hour of listening time for 5 minutes of charging. The Tone+ is also IPX4 certified meaning that they should be good enough to withstand a bit of water and sweat if you plan to use it at the gym.
At the moment, the LG Tone+ seems to be limited to South Korea where they will retail for around $216. There is no word on whether we’ll see it make its way stateside, but we’ll keep our eyes peeled for more information.
