Mate 30 Pro leaked render is looking excellent

The iPhone 11 was announced last week and the new design has been polarizing, to say the least. The big square with two (or three if you pay more) camera modules sticking out is in your face and very unlike Apple’s usually streamlined design. Let’s be honest with ourselves: Apple makes gorgeous phones, and this isn’t one of them.

Last year’s Huawei Mate 20 Pro housed three cameras in a fairly elegant way: In a black square centered on the phone. It looks better than the iPhone 11, and even better than the Pixel 4 leaks. And the latest image to leak of the upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro gives us a look at what the company can do with a fourth camera lens.

The center of the device has a black circle with all four cameras well hidden inside, with a nice aesthetic ring around it. To the side are the flashes, which blend surprisingly well with this color. The end result is far more elegant than Apple’s latest attempt.

Unfortunately the Mate 30 Pro may not ship with the Google Play Store, and it’s most definitely not coming to North America. That’s a real shame, since the Mate 20 Pro is an excellent device. Good work Huawei, now please work something out to get the Play Store running!
