Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 may feature innovative new touch bezel

0

According to the latest rumor, the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is expected to feature a “Touch Bezel” which would reinstate many of the same control mechanisms which were abandoned when Samsung decided to remove the rotating bezel from its current smartwatch lineup. The new touch-sensitive bezel would allow users to swipe their finger around the bezel to scroll through and navigate Samsung’s circular interface more easily.

Additionally, the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active 2 is said to feature Bluetooth 5. The new Bluetooth technology would allow the device to have 4 times the range of its predecessor while consuming less power.

Samsung is expected to unveil the new smartwatch alongside the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 in August. Pricing is still unknown at this time, but users should have the option to choose between 40mm and 44mm cases sizes with aluminum or steel case options.
