2019 has been a somewhat quiet year for HTC, where unlike the competition, the company has opted not to release a flagship smartphone and has instead chosen to go with some mid-range handsets. If you were hoping to see a flagship from HTC this year, you could be disappointed, but at the same time, if you’re trying to save some money, then HTC could have the answer to your problem.
Thanks to a bunch of leaked press renders and specs, it appears that the company is working on four new smartphones that will be part of its Wildfire series of handsets. This includes the HTC Wildfire E, the HTC Wildfire E+, the HTC Wildfire E1, and the HTC Wildfire. According to the leaked specs, here’s what we can expect.
Based on all these specs, the entire Wildfire range is largely expected to be a mid-range/entry-level series of smartphones, so they will not be breaking the bank if you’re looking to save yourself a couple of hundred dollars. That being said, just because they are mid-rangers doesn’t mean we should snub them.
Earlier this month, we reported that HTC had enjoyed a pretty good month of June where thanks to the HTC U19e, it managed to nearly double HTC’s month-over-month revenue.
