Mobvoi to launch a new “Boosted” smartwatch on July 10

Mobvoi may still be a name that most many recognize, but the company has quickly grown to be one of the most respected players building Wear OS smartwatches. The company has been churning out new smartwatches every 6 months, so it shouldn’t be a surprise to learn that the company plans to launch a new smartwatch on July 10th.

The company has launched a landing page on its site for the upcoming smartwatch with a teaser video titled Feel the Boost. While no specifics have been shared yet, the video does show off several design features of the watch. If you’re familiar with Mobvoi’s current lineup, the new smartwatch looks very similar to the TicWatch Pro. The name of the smartwatch isn’t mentioned anywhere, but the URL of the landing page end in “simplyboosted.”  According to recent rumors, Mobvoi’s new smartwatch will feature 4G LTE connectivity with support for Verizon’s network and possibly others.

Take a look at the teaser video and let us know what you think of the design. Are you willing to drop $250 or more on a new Wear OS device despite the fact that Google hasn’t shown the platform much love over the past few years?
