New Pixel 4 renders show off a multi-camera system on the back
For the longest time ever and for whatever reason, Google has opted to use a single-camera setup on the back of its Pixel series of smartphones. This is despite the fact that in the industry today, a dual camera setup seems to be the bare minimum we would expect from flagship handsets.
The good news is that if recent leaks are to be believed, Google could be remedying that situation with the upcoming Pixel 4 smartphones. A series of renders shared by @OnLeaks and Pricebaba has revealed what are allegedly images of the upcoming Pixel 4 handset. Based on the renders, it seems that the Pixel 4 could be adopting a camera bump on the back which appears to house 2-3 cameras.

If this is true, it would be a huge jump for Google in which the previous Pixel phones only used a single camera on the back. We have to admit that we’re not huge fans of the square camera section on the back of the phone, but that seems to be the current design trend, one that even Apple is rumored to be adopting for its 2019 iPhones.
It should be noted that Pricebaba has pointed out that these renders are based on “early prototyping schematics”, meaning that they could be subject to change upon the final product. Regardless, it’s still probably best to take it with a grain of salt for now, but if the end product were to look like this, how would you feel about it?
