When it comes to smartwatches, TAG Heuer is no stranger to the scene. The company has launched several different smartwatches in the past and it looks like they’re back with a new model. This comes in the form of the Connected Modular 45 “Golf Edition”, which as the name implies is aimed mostly at golfers.
From what we can tell of the specs of the smartwatch, it seems to be similar to the older Connected Modular 45 launched a couple of years ago. This means that we can look forward to the same 1.39-inch 400×400 display, 512MB of RAM, and 4GB of internal storage, along with features such as GPS and NFC.
Users can also expect a 410mAh battery that promises up to 25 hours of usage, and also the latest version of Google’s Wear OS platform. Apart from the innards, the design of the watch is slightly different to reflect the fact that it is aimed at golfers.
It features a white dimpled strap, which presumably is meant to mimic the look of a golf ball, green stitching, and also a black ceramic bezel around the face of the watch with engravings 1-18 to represent an 18-hole game of golf. There will also be accompanying applications targeting golfers, such as an app that can record and store your stats, scores, performance, and more.
If you think that you might have a need for such a smartwatch, then head on over to TAG Heuer’s website where you’ll be able to pick one up for $1,850.
