Additional Huawei P30, P30 Pro specs leaked ahead of announcement

Huawei has confirmed that they will be officially announcing the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro at an event in Paris on the 26th of March. So far details about the phones have been scarce, but the rumors and teasers that Huawei has released so far all seem to suggest that we can expect some kind of super-zoom camera.

Now in a set of certification documents filed in Indonesia and Taiwan, additional information about the phones such as its RAM and storage configurations have been revealed. Assuming that these are accurate, these are the RAM and storage options that both the Huawei P30 and P30 Pro could be packing:

There is also a filing in Indonesia which points towards a device codenamed MAR-LX2. It is unclear what this phone is, but it has been speculated that this could be the Huawei P30 Lite, which presumably could be Huawei’s answer to the Samsung Galaxy S10e, where it will be a more affordable version of the P30 with some compromises made to spec and design.

The listing does not mention which chipset the P30 series could be using, but since Huawei has yet to announce a new chipset, there is a very good chance that the phones might be powered by the Kirin 980 chipset used in last year’s Mate 20 series.

Needless to say that this information should be taken with a grain of salt for now, but we should have all the official details in the coming weeks so check back with us then for more updates.
