With Samsung Unpacked kicking off in less than an hour, it seems the leaks have yet more to give with a last minute special coming courtesy of @rquandt on Twitter. What’s different about these is that it shows a glimpse of the inner workings of the fingerprint sensor, as well as a short of the S10 accessories.
The S10 will feature a new fingerprint sensor that uses ultrasonic technology instead of the typical optical method found on devices like the OnePlus 6T. One image provides a look at the inner workings of the new sensor and the mechanism used for detecting a fingerprint, which looks like something straight from a promotional slide.
A screenshot of the S10 and S10+ reveals the wireless charging pad positioned next to Galaxy watch. Noticeably, there is a heart shape that appears like LEDs embedded in a case, which could suggest some form of active notification capability on the rear of the S10 with a particular case.
The final image has what looks like a promotional shot of the new processor that the S10 and S10+ will ship with an image of a game overlayed onto the screen. This ties in with the gaming performance and focuses on processing power that will form Samsung’s unveiling to demonstrate the capabilities of the S10 series. The same image offers a dissected view of the S10 offering a sneak peek inside the device.
Samsung Unpacked kicks off shortly, so be sure to tune in for the latest coverage of the S10 launch.
