LG G7 ThinQ finally getting official Pie update

0

While most phone makers are pretty bad at Android updates these days, some are worse than others. LG is definitely not known for the best update schedules, but thankfully, the LG G7 ThinQ is finally getting some love.

The device is now getting the Android 9.0 Pie update in its home country of South Korea. The beta has been out for some time now, but the official build launching is a good sign for G7 owners around the globe.

If you’re a G7 owner in South Korea, head into Settings to check for updates! If you’re elsewhere, look forward to the update coming soon. Now that the official Android Pie rollout has begun for the LG G7 ThinQ, other regions shouldn’t be too far behind.
