While we were all distracted by the new ng-gala lineup, it seems that Google has been cooking up something good. If Evan Blass is correct, we could be seeing the first look at Android P in just a matter of days.

Blass claims that Google is “targeting a mid-month release” for the latest version of Android. Some folks are suggesting that it could even be released on March 14th (3.14), to celebrate Pi day.
Details are extremely scarce about what Android P could have in-tow, but a few rumors claim that the software may embrace the notch. Additionally, the software would bring ‘major design changes’ in an effort to lure more users away from iOS and bring them to Android.
Early candidates for the final name of Android P include ‘Pistachio Ice Cream’, Android Pi, and possibly even Peppermint. It’s still super early, so we’ll have to see how all of this plays out, but if we’re lucky, Android P could arrive on devices in a few weeks.
