At the end of last month, OnePlus began rolling out the OxygenOS Oreo beta to owners of the OnePlus 5, and today, the company released the second beta. The update includes a slew of bug fixes, as expected, along with various UI improvements and more.
The update also brings the November Android security patch to the OnePlus 5, which is still a nice addition, even considering the fact that Pixel devices have moved to the December patch. If you want to download this latest update, you can do so by joining the Open Beta program and flashing the full version of the software.
However, since this is beta software, OnePlus knows that this isn’t for everyone as there may be bugs that render certain aspects of your phone unusable. So you can also download the build of Nougat version of OxygenOS to get things back to normal until a new beta is released which may fix any issues being had.
Let us know if you’ve been running the Oreo OxygenOS beta on your OnePlus 5 and how it’s been running for you.
