2018 is rapidly approaching and that means we are going to begin seeing a slew of new devices being announced and released in the coming months. One such device is the Huawei P11, which is the obvious successor to the Huawei P10.
A few weeks back, we saw a series of promotional posters which showed us how important the camera in the Huawei P11 will be. However, we haven’t really heard too much else since then – until today.
So the Huawei P11 seems to be a Q1 2018 thing (again). We were just promised "exciting new products" with a focus on camera and AI for Q1 at a local german Huawei Xmas event. Could be MWC like the P10.

It seems that Huawei is likely planning to release the Huawei P11 at Mobile World Congress 2018, following the same exact schedule of its predecessor.Of course, this only speculation, but Huawei did confirm the device would be launching in Q1 2018.
There is a chance that Huawei could hold a separate event for the launch of its latest flagship, but that’s unlikely considering the timing. Unfortunately, we don’t know much about the P11 in the spec department other than the possibility of a total of three rear cameras.
There’s also a chance that the P11 could feature a “notch” on the display similar to that of the Essential Phone and iPhone X. This would allow Huawei to fill the front of the device with as much display as possible, while providing space for the front camera and other front-mounted hardware.
