Valve is giving everyone the biggest tease ever with its latest partnership. Yesterday, Bridge Constructor Portal was announced, which is officially licensed by Valve as it has the whole Portal concept included in the game. Hell, even GLaDOS is there to poke at your heartstrings.
The game itself isn’t too exciting as it’s somewhat like most of the other bridge constructor games found on the Play Store. However, the appeal here is definitely for those of us who love the Portal/Half-Life games and since Valve has officially licensed this one, it’s an insta-buy for me.
Bridge Constructor Portal will blend the laws of structural engineering and technology straight from Aperture Laboratories into an exciting new game experience, all under the demanding gaze of GLaDOS.
The game will be released on December 20th for Android, iOS, Windows, MacOS, and Linux with console versions coming in “early 2018.” There’s no mention of how much this game will cost, but with Valve on board and the nostalgia bone fully being messed with, I would probably pay up to $10 for the game. Of course, there’s a chance this is a complete mess and then I will be disappointed yet again. But hey, it’s not the first time that I was disappointed by Valve.
Let us know if you are looking forward to the release of Bridge Constructor Portal, and if you’ll be downloading the game as soon as it is released.
