Motorola set to release a new Star Wars Moto Mod, but it won’t be available in the US

Earlier today, we saw the announcement of a Star Wars-themed OnePlus 5T, and while that device looks AMAZING, those of us here in the US likely won’t be getting the device. It seems that Motorola is also planning on getting in on the Star Wars magic with a new Moto Mod.

The new Moto Mod is due to be released in conjunction with the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and will be priced around $20. However, there’s a catch here – this likely won’t be available in any markets other than China.

What sucks is that, as a Star Wars fan myself, other regions are getting these awesome products, but they won’t be easily available here in the US. Instead, we’ll have to rely on retailers that can import the products such as Gearbest if you want to be able to get one, and there will likely be a nice price-tag attached.

Hopefully, this rumor is incorrect when it comes to the specific regions, but it will definitely be something worth keeping an eye on in the coming weeks. Let us know if you would be interested in seeing this come to the US or if you’ll try and pick one up through a different channel.
