Alongside the gorgeous bezel-less Xiaomi Mi Mix 2, the Chinese company also unveiled the Mi Note 3 handset and a MacBook competitor called the Mi Notebook Pro. While the Mi Mix 2 is sure to turn heads the same as last year’s bezel-less Mi Mix did, Xiaomi has made a few changes to the Mi Note line that are worth mentioning.
First up, the Mi Note 3 doesn’t pack the ultra high-end specs that you might expect from a device whose name suggests its main competition is Samsung’s own ultra high-end Galaxy Note 8. Instead, the Mi Note 3 sports a Snapdragon 660 processor for battery efficiency.
Xiaomi has hinted that it plans to drop the Mi Note line from its flagship offerings and the Mi Note 3 certainly proves that’s the direction the company is moving. It’s being advertised as a larger version of the recently released Mi 6.
