BLU makes its triumphant return to Amazon

0

There have been quite a few problems for BLU smartphones in the last few months, with various security concerns being made public. This has forced BLU’s lineup of devices to be pulled from Amazon’s “Prime-Exclusive” lineup a few times already.

This latest “incident” saw a cyber security company finding these devices pinging Chinese servers, which would make it possible for malware to be injected and private information to be collected. BLU reached out to us to clear up some concerns while maintaining that there is no foul play taking place here.

It seems that Amazon has agreed with BLU, and has decided to relist all of BLU’s smartphones for sale. However, it seems that the BLU R1 HD is still listed as “currently unavailable”, but it’s unknown as to why this is the case.

Let us know what you think about this debacle with BLU devices on Amazon and if you’ve used one of these yourself.
