Moto G5S Plus has dual-rear cameras

0

Just yesterday we got one of our first looks at the Moto G5S, the upgraded Moto G5 smartphone that features a bigger display and a metal rear plate. Today, the Plus model rears its attractive head.

The device appeared at Gear looking quite similar to the base Moto G5S model, but this one is sporting dual-rear cameras. This is a surprising sight as we weren’t expecting that level of optics for what’s typically positioned as a budget line, and we’d just assumed that the forthcoming Moto Z2 Force would be the first Moto smartphone donning a pair of sensors.

Beyond the double trouble on the rear, the G5S Plus is also expected to be a bit bigger at 5.5 inches compared to its 5.2-inch brother.

Otherwise, they should both offer similar experiences, including octa-core chipsets and enough RAM and storage to make Android Nougat zoom. We’re still not sure when to expect an announcement, but it feels like we’ll hear something soonish.

The "Google Phone" sounded too awesome to pass up, so I bought a G1. The rest is history. And yes, I know my name isn't Wilson.
