We aren’t exactly sure what Motorola and Lenovo are getting it when it comes to the naming mechanics for its various devices. This is further compounded by a new leak from @evleaks which supposedly reveals the new name for what we have been calling the ‘Moto X 2017‘.

All we have to go off of is promotional material which was leaked, but this reveals the Moto X 2017 will actually be called the Moto X4. This information also comes after a rather large leak was shared via Weibo, which revealed the specs for the upcoming device.

According to the aforementioned leak, the Moto X4 (that’s still weird to me) will feature a 5.5-inch display with “3D glass”. The rumor also shared that the Snapdragon 660 SoC will power the device, along with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

Regardless, 2017 is shaping up to be an interesting one for Motorola and Lenovo, as the company gears up for its new smartphone lineup.
