T-Mobile extends free Gear VR with Galaxy S8 purchase to more customers
At launch, folks who pre-ordered the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ at all carriers would be treated to a nice freebie: a free Samsung Gear VR unit. It’s the new one with the controller, too.
Thankfully, it seems T-Mobile is extending the offer to those who wanted to wait until launch date and beyond to buy one. They’re now officially offering it to anyone buying it between April 28th and May 14th.
We say “officially” because the company is also said to be honoring the deal for those who bought between April 21st (launch date) and April 27th, as well.
The company says you’ll be able to register your purchase starting May 10th, and shipments will be sent out within 6-8 weeks. Oh, and we know there won’t be more than 75,000 of these available, so get in on it while you’re still able.
