The cat’s out of the bag. We know just about everything regarding the Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, including specs, and what the devices will look like. Until now, we haven’t seen the devices side by side in very many pictures, but another leak gives us a look at just that.
On the left you can see the smaller Galaxy S8 with its display turned off, while the Galaxy S8 Plus has its lock screen turned on. The “always-on” display is showing us the time, date, battery life, and the new redesigned on-screen home button.
The Galaxy S8 is expected to feature a 5.7-inch “Infinity Display”, while the S8 Plus is expected to measure in at 6.2-inches while also including Samsung’s new Infinity Display. Thanks to a plethora of rumors, we also have a pretty good idea as to what will be powering the Plus model.
A recent leak has shared that the device will include the following:
- 6.2-inch QHD+ Super AMOLED Display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Processor
- 4GB RAM
- 64GB Storage
- 8MP Front Camera w/ Iris Scanner
- 12MP Dual Pixel Rear Camera
- Wireless Charging
We’re a few weeks from the official announcement, but it seems that those looking to get their hands on either of these devices will have to wait an extra week. Let us know what you plan to do regarding your next flagship smartphone in the comments below.
