Samsung first took the wraps off the Samsung Gear S3 Classic and Gear S3 Frontier back in August and it was only a short time later, the smartwatch duo launched in November priced at $300/$350 (depending on where you purchased it). For those still in the market for a new smartwatch — especially those who already own a Samsung Galaxy device — the Samsung Gear S3 Frontier is one of the best out there.
The S3 Frontier features a more sporty look than the S3 Classic, but other than that they have the same features: integrated speaker for voice calls, GPS, Samsung Pay with NFC and/or MST, and an always-on display. It’s a price we’ve seen before in the past and even though the watch is “temporarily out of stock,” you can still lock-in and order a Samsung Gear S3 Frontier for $299 on Amazon, which will ship whenever stock is replenished.
Keep in mind this is the non-LTE model (SM-R760NDAAXAR), so you will need to keep your smartphone nearby if you want internet connectivity and voice calling. Even though the S3 Classic and S3 Frontier don’t actually run Android Wear, they are compatible with most Android devices. For more on the watch, check out the Amazon listing below.
