San Jose airport features a Project Fi vending machine for subscribers

Project Fi subscribers traveling through San Jose Airport can stop off at a Project Fi vending machine located near Gate 25 to check out all kinds of goodies available for free to subscribers. So what’s in the box? You can choose from sleep masks, socks, charging cables, and more but you’re limited to one item every 24 hours.

It’s interesting to see Google branching out in this way and it likely grants some name recognition for travelers too. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve left behind a charging cable and needed to get one quick, only to end up using one of those over-priced Best Buy vending machines at the airport. This seems like a great service that we’d like to see more of in airports across the country.
