Back in October, Google announced a new multi-point router system that aims to change the reliability of your home wifi. Google WiFi looks to do this by spanning across your entire house with multiple access points, provided there is a Google WiFi router in place.
This new router has meant the demise of the OnHub router, which we have seen discounted from various retailers. The upcoming release of Google WiFi also forced Google to rename and redesign its OnHub application to support the new router.
Previously, potential owners could only pre-order the device, but as of today, Google WiFi is available for everyone. There are two options that are available for purchase from the Google Store: 1-pack for $129, or 3 pack for $299. Unfortunately, the 3-pack from the Google Store is out of stock, so if you want to save some money on the bundle, you’ll have to hold out until Google’s stock replenishes.
