Google Now feed gets split into two with latest update

0

google-app-updateGoogle is cleaning up the flow of information in the Google app. Instead of all your news, updates, personal information, etc sitting in a long list of cards, they are now split off into 2 lists.

One list called “Feed” has news curated from your specified interests, whether that be sports scores, politics, entertainment, or what have you. If you want access to stuff that helps you get through your day — such as calendar appointments, reminders, traffic updates, flight notifications, and more — then you head to the “Upcoming” tab.

It’s a simple change, but a logical one that’ll hopefully make it easier for folks to find what they’re looking for at a quick glance. The update is heading out to your Google app through a Google Play update, so keep an eye out for it (or head straight to Google Play using the link ahead.
