50 likes – CEO of T-Mobile, John Legere, tweeted out stating he had exciting information regarding using the Pixel on T-Mobile’s network. The next day, it was revealed that T-Mobile would be offering 50% off the device through monthly reimbursements.

#8 – Google Home App

50 likes – The Google Cast app has been rebranded as Google Home. The update includes a new icon, as well as a few design tweaks to create a new experience for those who purchase Google Home.

#7 – Google VR startup

51 likes – It has been announced that Google has purchased Eyefluence, a company that has been working on eye-tracking technology for the last 3.5 years. There is speculation that Google will be using this technology in an upcoming, unannounced, Virtual Reality headset.

52 likes – The Google Camera application was recently updated, and added a slew of new features. These features include Auto-HDR+, slow motion video on the Nexus 5X and 6P, smart burst on the Nexus 6P, and more.

#5 – Google Photos Albums

52 likes – The latest update to the Google Photos app now lets you search photo albums, versus just photos themselves. The update was rolled out in stages and is a server-side switch.

#4 – Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Fire

52 likes – A user of the Galaxy Note 7 who replaced their defective device with the Galaxy S7 Edge suffered a device that exploded. This is not the first S7 Edge to suffer battery issues but has caused some concern for potential buyers of Samsung products.

#3 – Google Pixel Camera Flare

55 likes – It has been explained and pointed out that the camera on the Pixel and Pixel XL has issues with a lens glare/halo effect in photos. Google has confirmed they are aware of the problem and is looking into resolving the issue in an upcoming update.

#2 – Samsung Galaxy S8 to Note 7 Owners

55 likes – Samsung is reportedly working on a compensation program for owners of the Galaxy S7 Edge, Galaxy S7, or Galaxy Note 7. This program would allow users to exchange their “old” device for the new Galaxy S8 with either a minimal cost, or for free.
