Google partners with Visa and Mastercard to make web purchases easier

0

Google has announced a new partnership with Mastercard and Visa to integrate new services into Android Pay. The partnership takes advantage of Visa Checkout and Masterpass and will now allow users to quickly make payments through the mobile web with Android Pay.

Visa Checkout and Masterpass users who link their accounts with Android Pay can look forward to easy and secure payments in stores and online with a simple tap.

The biggest benefit to this partnership is the fact that you won’t need to remember various usernames or passwords for either your Visa Checkout or Masterpass accounts. Once officially rolled out to everyone, users will be able to checkout with secure “one-click” options.

Google is expecting to roll these new features out sometime in “early 2017” and will be made available via the Android Pay application.
