LeEco has a new phone in the works, and it sounds like it has a great chance to impress. The device was spun through a benchmark last week to reveal that it has a Snapdragon 821 chipset, 6GB of RAM, a 16MP rear camera and an 8MP counterpart on the front.

That sounds par for the course for high-end smartphones from Chinese companies, however the battery is really interesting. It’s a 5,000mAh cell, a mark that has been reached before, but something that is more notable here due to the expectation of the device being just 7mm thin.

Such a large battery in such a thin body usually means we’re going to get a massive display. Unfortunately, we’re not sure what to expect in that regard but prepare for a whale of a phone. That or LeEco somehow stumbled upon battery technology that no one else has been able to. It should be long before we’re treated to more info, so stay tuned.
