Sony opens the Xperia X Performance to test Android Nougat

Sony’s Xperia Beta Program, which allows users to test upcoming versions of Android, has launched for the Sony Xperia Performance. Users will be able to test the pre-release version of Android 7.0 Nougat, just like Nexus users can currently do. This is one of the coolest things Sony does. We wish other manufacturers offered the same program.

Right now, Sony is taking sign-ups in Spain, Italy, Portugal, Iceland, and a few other countries outside of the U.S. The program will only be for a limited number of users. If your country is included in the beta test, head to this link and sign up. Keep in mind that this is a beta, so performance and stability might not be the best. But if you want a taste of Nougat on your Xperia X Performance, this is the only way to do it for now.
