Verizon starts pushing June security OTA to Samsung Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Edge users

0

Verizon Wireless isn’t really known for being on top of rolling out any type of updates to devices on its network. Surprisingly, the carrier has already started rolling out the June security software update to owners of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge.

Software Update Details:

Software Version: MMB29M.G930VVRU2APE1
The current software update gives you the most up to date Android™ security patch on your device.

There are no other extra features found within the update, other than keeping your device as secure as possible. The biggest issue that that this update poses is that it’s coming through as an OTA update. This means that it could still be weeks before your device sees the update arrive.
