It seems that people are getting anxious, or Samsung is ramping up production for the next Galaxy Note device. Leaks are coming on a daily basis, and there’s tons of speculation about whether Sammy will skip over the Galaxy Note 6 moniker, and go straight to the Note 7. The latest rumor comes in regards to what version of Android the Note will ship with.
While Android N does not have an official launch date (I mean, we don’t even have a name yet), you would expect for Samsung to at least be testing its next device on Android’s latest and greatest. According to a leaked user agent profile from an unknown Galaxy Note device, it is apparently rocking Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
Many questions will continue to be raised surrounding the Galaxy Note 6/7, as well as many more leaks will be pop up ahead of its official release. Speaking of the official release, the latest we heard was that the flagship phablet would be announced in August, which actually lines up with Google’s Q3 release for Android N.
So we’ll have to continue to rely on the rumor mill for any information leading up to the official announcement. Keep your eyes tuned to Phandroid for more information as it becomes available.
