Unreal Engine and Unity will support Daydream VR at launch

Epic Games kind of spilled the beans on their own, but the news was made official today. Unreal Engine will support Daydream VR — Google’s big new VR platform — when it launches later this fall. Unity, perhaps the biggest mobile-centric game development platform — will also join in on the fun.

This news will delight users and developers alike. For developers, it means they get a familiar set of tools with which to build their VR games. This makes development faster and easier. For users?
