Sony is known for more than their Android offerings around the world, but we’re sure you already knew that. The company has long been known for providing great in-home theater products utilizing new technologies to give users some of the best experiences available. Earlier today, Sony announced a new AV receiver and a set of new speakers that will help you listen to your music and movies from your Android phone or tablet using Google Cast. Here’s what they introduced:
- SRS-ZR5 Wireless Speaker with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi – $199.99
- SRS-ZR7 Wireless Speaker with Bluetooth/Wi-Fi – $299.99
- HT-NT5 2.1ch Soundbar with High-Resolution Audio/Wi-Fi – $799.99
- STR-DN1070 7.2 Channel Home Theater AV Receiver – $599.99
While these prices may scare some away, just keep in mind the quality of product Sony provides in just about everything the company touches. Add in the Google Cast support — a perk not found on most speaker setups — and you’ve got a winner on your hands. Can’t say you’d go wrong with any of these options.
The above audio equipment isn’t available just yet, but we can expect to see them up for sale within the next few weeks where they’re sure to make their way into brick-and-mortar stores shortly thereafter. If you’re looking for premium audio equipment that’s Google Cast-ready to make your home shake, Sony’s new lineup should fit the bill.
